This is for anyone looking for a more realistic tiled roof. Array horizontal model lines up the face of your roof at a spacing of 18", select peak_valley, gable, valley_valley, etc depending on what type of face it is, and place the line-based generic model family by line-selection. Height of tile is adjustable (good for fitting in last row). Made for a 5/12 slope, but will probably work with others. Also included is the jpeg for the material I used. Renders beautifully.

Hi there

Here are two families of the same ‘crested ridge tiles’. One been build using the generic model line base template so you can drag it along the line with to control points but the tiles sometimes over lap, the second family been build using the generic model template and you control it either by the length or by the number of tiles. In both families you can control the angle of the tile and the material.
