These Revit Schedules are a room schedule filtered for the room named Attic and a soffit schedule that includes a soffit pretending to be the ridge vent. The soffits model across the whole roof including the eaves to get the required area. The ridge vent is a narrow soffit at the ridge the length of the ridge minus the width of the boundary. I have included the stand alone schedules with no model at www.revitcity.com . The math formulas are in the schedules and can be modified per required code. The formula for the ridge vent is the perimeter of the ridge / 2. The ridge boundary is as narrow as possible so I can get a length value. Conditional values are set to black out the values if the manufacture is not who I need it to be. I think it’s pretty cool. Here's a switchboard for addressing up to 256 devices? I just made it for the challenge--eletrical/data is not my field.
This annotation automatically converts any integer up to 256 into its (up to) 8 digit binary eqivalant, and moves the toggles to the correct locations.
There's some parameter kung-fu in there.

No longer do you have to add 4 individual break lines to a view to frame an enlarged plan, detail, etc. This four-sided break line does it all in one step. Parametric settings allow you to control the width of the "frame", height of the "frame", Jag width, jag depth, and masking depth. You can also turn off sides you don't need by using the E/W/N/S visibility setting. When you re-size the frame, the origin is top left corner so changes to size occur from that point. |

I simplified the break line symbol so you only have to type in the scale of your view to size the jag(adjusts the depth and width simultaneously). This will keep your break line symbol consistent and easier to size. |
