Van Keppel-Green Lounge Chair

Lounge Chair designed by Hendrik Van Keppel and Taylor Green. This model is based on the example in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, manufactured by Van Keppel-Green in 1946. Furniture by Van Keppel-Green has a notable association with the Arts and Architecture Case Study House program, being featured in photographs by Julius Shulman of Pierre Koenig's Case Study House 22, also known as the Stahl House. VKG furniture was also featured in Shulman’s photographs of Richard Neutra’s Kaufmann House. I modeled this using Revit 2008 and exported it to AutoCAD and used the Mental Ray renderer to render the image. I am working on a Revit 2011 version. The ottoman is a separate file called VKG Ottoman.
