The pool is as far as i can tell made to the correct dimensions.

Go into type properties, scroll to materials, click dialog box for material type and change to water, category liquid, double click and edit the color and render appearence, change transparency to 50% or higher.

olympic pools are 50 meters (164 ft) by 25 meters (82 ft) lanes are 2.5 meteres wide
