Tryed to use the purlins on a project currently in DD. The basic approach is very clear and straight forward. For a very basic metal building this could be a very good family. In the reality of the metal building systems there are a few tweaks that could be considered to improve the addaptibility of the system..

Due to site or other internal equipment needs the buildings become asymetrical, sometimes due to eave height requirements. Adding prameter to have different building widths from centerline. Also most building frames are set to Eave Height at the top of the eave strut, finding the offset control was not as clear as setting the eave height as a parameter (or as a family trait).
