Parametric wall mounted shelves

Fully parametric wall mounted shelves.

No more of this downloading each width separately nonsense. :) You can change the width, depth, height of top shelf, height of bottom shelf, width between supports, number of shelves, materials, everything.

REVIT 2016 (not 2015) The picture is all of the same family, with different parameters.

notes:

Elevation measures to bottom of wall mounted supports. Minimum number of shelves =2.

Number of shelves, spacing, and height are instance parameters.

width, depth, and thickness of shelves, and the width between the support bars are type parameters.

Thank you for this awesome family!

How can i convert it toa face hosted family instead of wall?

I tried the steps below but it doesnt work for some reason

Solution:

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

  1. Create a new Revit project file.
  2. Create a wall.
  3. Load and place the wall-based family that needs to be converted.
  4. Save this as a new project (e.g. Project A).
  5. Open a separate Revit session and create a new project (e.g. Project B).
  6. Link Project A into Project B.
  7. Navigate to the Collaborate tab > Copy/ Monitor > Select Link.
  8. Copy the wall-based family instance from the linked model (Project A) into the host model CryingProject B).
