Although I notice that the lights give pedestrians the signal to walk even though the opposing traffic is still going through the intersection - carnage!

Aggreed, there will be copious amounts of carnage but panelbeaters and hospitals need to make a living too. win - win.
As for the car its one of those Korean Hyundai Genesis coupes, found right here on this superb website.
