Importing and Setting this up for use in a project:

  1. Create a new Family - I generally like to use the Generic Model Template
  2. Under the INSERT tool bar click on"Import CAD"
  3. Select the AutoCAD file and at the bottome where it says Colors: "Preserve" is what i use.
  4. click open
  5. once the models in the file i like to save it
  6. scale the model to the proper vehicle dimensions (just checked in this case the edge is very close and wont need to be scaled)
  7. i generally draw a simple length and width line and move the models bumper to one and edge of vehicle to the other and scale it till its to size or close.
  8. erase the length width lines
  9. Save
