Importing and Setting this up for use in a project:
- Create a new Family - I generally like to use the Generic Model Template
- Under the INSERT tool bar click on"Import CAD"
- Select the AutoCAD file and at the bottome where it says Colors: "Preserve" is what i use.
- click open
- once the models in the file i like to save it
- scale the model to the proper vehicle dimensions (just checked in this case the edge is very close and wont need to be scaled)
- i generally draw a simple length and width line and move the models bumper to one and edge of vehicle to the other and scale it till its to size or close.
- erase the length width lines
- Save
