Manufacturers Write Up: The Kioto 16 wall or ceiling light from Domus has been designed by Domus Team. This wall or ceiling mounted luminaire is great for fluorescent lighting. The kioto is composed of a shade in Lunopal. Lunopal is a transparent material that has the appearance of Japanese paper and consists of compressed polycarbonate fibers. This fixture is also constructed from premium wood in a beech/beech wood or beach black mix finish. Can be mounted either built-on or built-in. The neckline is 62,5 x 62,5 cm. This is a modified version of a manufactures coiling grille for recessed mounting for use in retail. Side track is set to be flush mounted with drywall face instead of surface mounted. Tube steel backup shown for reference but actual size should be coordinated with your engineer based on opeing size. The TS 2x2 worked for my small application as a starting poing until the size was finalized by my engineers for a 6' x 10' opening.

This is an expasion joint from wall to wall, mostly to be used with gypsum board walls.
The gap is 8". The plan represensation will show the joint gasket details. The elevation will show the trim and middle metal, as well as the 2 side expansion gadgets.
Both metal and expansion gadgets allow material selection.
