Hey guys, this took me a lot of time to make but it is pretty good, totally parametric. I had to work my brains out on some Pithagoras! You can choose between a 90 degrees shower screeen or a chamfered corner, adjust the angle and the length of the chamfer, offset each side separate from the wall and of course the materials. Hi Guys, there you go. I had a veeery quiet (not to say boring!) weekend but extremelly productive. Managed to create this door family I had planned for a while.
It has an extensive list of parameters you can change but the file is not too big.
I uploaded the printscreen of the list of parameters as well but I don't know why it doesn't show. Apparently I can only upload one jpeg file.

Note that the one without handrail has a small extrusion running under its base, that is just a trick to make it work. Just make sure you hide it in section.

Here we go, a great parametric colorbond fence which adapts to the site slopes. Just follow the instructions to use it: First of all, it only works as linear arrays, never curves. 1) Insert the component making sure its host is the site surface. 2) Measure the total distance of the line you want the fence on and subtract 60mm, which is the post diameter. 3) Divide the total by the panel length, for example 2100mm. Example: if we have 22578mm to fence, subtract 60mm and divide by 2100mm. That gives me 10.72 4) Round this number to the next integer. In this case 10.72 becomes 11. 5) Divide the total (22518mm) by 11. 6) Open the Fence Properties and change its length to the result (2047.09). 7) Create an array of 11 parts with the panel. 8) That's it. Done! |
