Yes, I agree with rodders comment. Yamakawadesign, please post this one somewhere else. Hate when people post these meaningless pieces here.

Awesome scene. @ UMarco This site is for Revit and the users of Revit. It is not here for what YOU think is useful. It shows some of the neat features that people utilize to come up with original ideas.

revitcity should be about architecture, not just any random 3d modeling. There are plenty of fora for placing 3d renderings like this where it would be more acceptable- 3dS Max sites, movie sites, etc. Revit = BIM BIM = BUILDING information modeling I can think of ZERO applications for the imagery used above in the realm of architecture. You cant think of a use for at least 1 thing in that image? Car in a parking lot, land for beach front property plants for the beach, the guy can stand in the picture, the sunset could be used as nice sales piece. Please try and think outside the box. REVIT can be used to do MANY things. Incase you havent forgotten Revit can and is used by a LOT of mechanical, electrical, structural, and plumbing firms, why should revit city by made for architecture? The rendering above is better than 90% of the junk buildings that people post on here anyways. just my.02

help me understand-what use does a ".50 cal" have in mechanical, electrical, structural and plumbing? as I said above, this is "Revitcity" which pertains to a BUILDING information modeling program-Revit. "car in a parking lot"...so, if the hummer was replaced by the yellow VW Bug would the image have the same meaning? "beach front property plants for the beach"-i think people who are looking at renderings here are aware of RPC plants-ditto for the "guy...in the picture." sunset-i also think people are aware that the sun exists and that "sunset" images are possible in renderings. none of this is helpful to visualizing architecture or mechanical, structural or plumbing for that matter. if this website was "provocative 3d renderings.com" i would have no objections to this image whatsoever and it could be discussed/critiqued as a potential movie poster or a poster as a tribute to veterans, etc. yamakawa, it is obvious that you are a talented Revit modeler and that you have a very strong understanding of rendering in Revit. all respect to you and i look forward to seeing more of your building renderings in the future. i just wanted you to understand why people are confused when you put up renderings like this on this site. humbly...my $ .02
