I saw this model last night... this is all sweeps and wall based families.  Brilliant modelling.

It is just a wall based family with some pretty cool shading devices and added voids... I have not added the windows yet.

Alright. It is pretty easy. Just create a new family, wall based. Cut a void in a wall. Create a lot of sweeps. You can also do a lot under the parameters, like changing the sweeps to mullions and things like that.
