sure it looks great but i wonder about a rendering that looks realistic or photorealistic - does that really help much? maybe it can look like it came right out of a cartoon and if it has a great shape and looks like it was designed by a professional then maybe that will win the money?.. i forgot who told me this but i thought about it for awhile and it seems like there is something to it.. even a pencil sketch or black lines if it's good might be all that's needed.. or maybe adding some color will help.. i don't really know... it's amazing how we keep looking for different settings and different backgrounds and lighting etc etc.. i wonder.. what IS a practical and cost effective way for an architect to present his or her work? lots and lots of new postings in this gallery but not much discussion and learning from each other.. this is a place where we could all trade ideas and thoughts and all benifit immensely.. notice how they rebuilt this comment box with all these text formatting tools.. maybe they thought we WERE going to learn from each other.. you think? i bet the purpose for posting your renderings is not to impress anyone else but rather to get some ideas from others.. POST ANYTHING SAY ANYTHING don't be shy..
