Description: Talking about problems with making a nice bed in Revit out of a dwg-file :------------------------------------------ http://revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=545 ---------------------------------------------------------------- There is a guy who was the first one to unite everything in one word to make a "nice bed" for mankinds thinking and feeling - his name was Zarathustra from Persia/Iran- you can Google on it - His teachings about monotheism lay the ground for jews, christians and muslims. They have forgotten their founder.... His followers still exist - zoroastrianists - worth to Google on - to make new nice beds in Revit - with a globestand - but that is a problem to me - making a nice globestand in Revit - have a try yourself... real a world wide project....

Wrapping a bitmap image of our world around a sphere and you can get our globe on a globestand, but you have to map correctly... Have a try yourself... Or perhaps Revit cannot map spheres!?.,

Of course, good tip. As you said its very difficult to control the position of the map though.
