Description: Hallo Mr Spot!
I have tried to contact you about what you told me about what I am writing in my new tutorial on making a sloping rounded roof. You told me that the roof could have been made with ********* Roof by extrusion ********** instead. I have tried it before I wrote the tutorial but Revit does not let you pick a sloping plane or a sloping line in a sloping plane or a reference plane that slopes. So I still believe that my way is the only way... /////////////////////////
But perhaps ypu have some workaround? ////////////////
I would like you to confirm that I am right or show me an example of a sloping rounded roof made with Roof by exrusion. Sincerely Mr GG

This one is just an experiment making a sloping rounded roof. It is not pretty but it could be.... It also shows how you sometimes not can use the ordinary methods to make a roof in Revit - Roof by footprint and Roof by extrusion.
And for sure you can make a lot of nice sloping things with the same method I have used for this roof.
Have a look in my tutorial you find in the FORUM TIPS & TRICKS and called: New tutorial on sloping roofs
I hope it someday will be added to the rest of the tutorials on Revitcity.
