Try using the "adjust exposure" controls, and brighten the image up a bit. It looks a little bit dark. Also, you can get some decorative elements like a clock, some small appliances for the counters, a fruit bowl, maybe a vase with some flowers...those small decor items will really make the image look quite a bit richer and more realistic and detailed.
Also, try putting in an RPC human figure for scale and to give the rendering some life. Even some wall outlets along the backsplash above the coutner top would look good. Anything that can make the rendering look a bit more realistic and detailed would help a lot. Download some stool and place them up against that sitting area at the front of the view, that would look good as well.
You can try mapping your own marble or granite texture for the counters, I have made quite a few really nice green granite render maps that look great. For the backsplash, try using a tile material that has a few different colored tiles in it, that would look good, I think i remember one that has a few different greens, and another with a few different blues. Also, maybe add some hanging pendant lights above the sitting area would be a nice touch.
Nice work, Ill check out the updated view when you upload it, Im sure itll be a big improvement.

its actually a full height wine cellar, but sure!
http://www.vikingrange.com/consumer/library/documentation.jsp?id=cat40032
just go down to the full height wine cellar section and download one that has a 3d dwg file and import it into a revit family file and change the materials through the "object styles" button under "imported objects". Enjoy!
