Description: Interior shot Took a bit to get past the 10% black screen of death. revit 2010 on xp 64 bit core 2 duo 3gHz had to delete any non visible stuff eg underground parking, landscape, exterior ramps etc. reduced number of studio lights from first efforts, no daylight portals turned on but light still came through windows?????. I think the skylight material (glass translucent) has its own glow but that wouldn't explain the sharp shadows on the floor. Still learning. All in revit though. I am trying to get reasonable renders as part of normal workflow on projects not an extra effort.

Very Nice, Best thing to do is have a spare machine that is for renders only. it means you can continue working, setting up other views or remodeling sections while the render is running. another trick is to have objects that are not in your view on a seperate workset, this means you can turn them off in VG and not delete them. Hope this helps Pete
