Hello, I am trying to coordinate our standard AutoCAD tags into Revit 2008. I have not run into any trouble using shared parameters when I duplicated our wall type tags but now I am having trouble with my material tag. I'm trying to add a shared paramter called "Finish Tag" and I went through the process- making the label and adding then selecting the shared paramter which showed up on the list just fine. But after I click on OK and go back to the list, it no longer appears there. Is this some kind of error/bug with material tags? Because I repeated the process after changing family parameters to floor tag or wall tag and it worked just fine. The only workaround I can think of right now is make the same material tag symbol but categorize it as wall, floor, etc tag instead of material tag so I can get my shared parameter to appear properly. Should I continue down that path? Or is there a solution to the material tag error? Thanks in advance, KS EDIT- Sorry, the attached file has it categorize has a Floor tag at the moment (which works the way I want it to), so please change it to Material tag in order to see where I am coming from.
