Hi Im using Revit Architecture 2008, and 3ds max 2008, and ive got a problem when i try to put a roof texture on my imported house model. The problem is that the roof-texture doesnt align with each individual face of the roof, as it does in Revit. Instead the roof tiles are alltogether oriented in one direction, so at one face of the roof the tiling orientation is correct, but on the corresponding side it is not. Its probably because the texture coordinates arent based on the individual faces on the roof, but on the entire roof model. Im sorry if im clumys in the way i describe this in english, so i attach a picture to show what the problem is about. I would appreciate if aomeone can tell me how to get past this issue.

I know it's kind of an old post, but check this guy's tutorials on importing a Revit model into 3ds. You have to apply a modifier in order to fix the texture. I would have suggested asking this question in a 3ds forum. The mehtod @3:25 solves your problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hi8L-2vQ8vc&feature=channel
