I'm setting up a title sheet that needs blocks of colour with a logo on top. Two problems: 1. How do I create a filled region without a black line around it? (after creating the region I've given it a solid pattern and changed the graphic colour but the coloured area still has a black line around it) 2. Ive put a .jpg logo on top of the filled region and it shows up correctly in the family editor but when the sheet is imported into the project, the logo disappears. It seems that it is being masked by the coloured region because when i overlap them slightly then part of the logo shows up! (the logo draw layer option is shown as foreground) Any clues will certainly be welcomed.

With filled regions you can change the boundary lines to invisible. What you need to do is edit the filled region and select the boundary lines. Select <Invisible> out of the list in the type selector pull down in the options bar above the drawing screen. I am not sure why the jpg isn't showing up correctly. It may be a grapics issue, I don't know.

Thanks for the answer regarding the filled region. The jpg issue is still perplexing though. When trying to persuade my grumpy collegues that Revit isn't the devil's programme, they always pounce on the simple things like this:- "You don't get trouble with such trivial things in AutoCAD etc etc."

Took your advice and tried tiff, bmp & png formats. Still didn't work though.

Is the jpeg in CMYK color or RGB color. I've found that when a jpeg is in CMYK color it doesn't import correctly, but the same jpeg in RGB color imports fine.
