i can't see elevation tags in one view...a floor plan set to show the existing phase. the tags show up in all the other existing plan views...as well as in all of the new plan views in my drawing set. i've checked the view properties and the phasing is set correctly. i also checked the visibility graphics for each view (plans & their corresponding elevations) and the elevation tags are checked but still not showing up in that one particular view. they are not hidden either. anyone have any suggestions? this is driving me crazy!

You may have tried this but, click the "Tag All Not Tagged" button.

Try your Reveal Hidden Elements button to see if they have been individually hidden (R200

I actually ran into this problem a few weeks ago. Somehow my elevation tags were moved outside of my view crop area. The clip planes were also WAY out of the view crop. You may want to try pulling your view crop out and look for them to pop up on screen. The tags will not show if the clip planes are also out of the view region.

Thanks for the responses, I do appreciate it, but I already checked to see if the tags were individually hidden, if the crop area was too small to display them, if I could retag them, etc. and they just don't seem to be showing up. It's really weird because they are visible in the existing 2nd floor plan & the roof plan, so I know they weren't deleted. I just can't figure it out.

My last piece of advice would be to stretch the crop window out to thousands of feet outside of your floor plan. I am sure you have tried this, but somehow mine were over one thousand feet from my outside wall. I found that my elevation view clip was even further away from my elevation tag. Check where your view clips are for your elevation tags in your other floor plans. Best of luck to you.

I found the solution. When you cropped your elevation, you accidentally used the wrong floor. So if your elevation is supposed to be on the 4th floor, you cropped the view to show the 5th floor, let's say. Then your elevation will show up on the other floor. Just happened to us on this project!
