I am trying to create a 6" x 6" and 12" x 12" ceramic tile flooring. I want the tile flooring to appear as tile in the model when I do the interior rendering. How do I create the flooring to show up accurately in the model? I also want the tile pattern to show up in the floorplans with the proper pattern. How do I do that?

You can use real ceramics model, create a ceramics model family, and really create all the ceramics tile as floor model or generic model. But it will take more time and more system resources. My faster method to do this is you can simply maps the material to the floor when you need to render them, and adjust them as necesarry. And use model line pattern to make it appear on all of your work drawing, the layout plan, section or elevation (for bathroom ceramics, or other tiling material on the wall). hope it helps..
