I know there is a floor slab edge command that puts a sweep in the floor, but is there a way to put a reveal or a void in the floor?

You can put a void in the floor by editing the profile shape of the floor and drawing the profile of the void location. You can add reveals sweeps to the floor by creating an in-place family, a eneric void and cutting the geometry of the floor with it. <-might not be best solution.

I've created a face based family for the various shapes that I need to cut out of floors. If they are too custom I do it via an in-place family. HTH.
