I have been trying to draw a wall with a bump it, where about 5 feet of the wall is 9" thick, and the remainder is 4" thick. I've tried creating an in-place wall, but it doesn't clean-up with other walls, and doesn't have the same properties as the other walls... Does anyone know an easy way to do this? I've attached a picture showing the in-place wall I created to clarify what I'm trying to accomplish. thanks for any help. jb

I would make them as two wall types. One with the 4" thickness and the other with the 9" thickness and draw them with the faces aligned on the common side.
