I tried importing a topo map from autocad, but when I got to the part where you "import the instance" I couldn't select the symbol. This led me to believe the Acad topo map had not been properly made (actually, it looks like it was made with civil 3D and imported to ACAD). So all I really have is a bunch of squiggly lines in a symbol. I've started the brute force method of creating a new toposurface and placing points along all the lines. Is there an easier way to do this? It would be nice if I could tell Revit to distribute a bunch of points along a line.
