Does anyone have a clue as to the simpliest way of setting up wall section in Revit. A full wall section including the different materials and how the actual roof sits on the roof and also the floor slab as well. If anyone has any idea or clue as to how this process is executed please reply ASAP!

- cut sections on the plans
- go to that view- change the view level to fine.
- assuming your walls and roofs reflect the materiality of their construction (eg, 1.5" metal standing seam on 3/4" rigid insulation on 3.5" cold formed metal framing... etc) you can then use detail components to lay over the top of the model. Use components as much as possible- stay away from linework as much as possible.
- You can then leave the underlain model on or off- but leaving it on makes for a nice reference- if something moved- it will become visible in the view.
