I am using Revit 2008. I took the Andersen Casement windows and added them to my model. I changed the "information" regarding the windows such as the manufacturer, rough opening, finish opening dimensions for the windows and saved them as a different family (Reliabilt).

I modified the Generic wall that I was using and replaced it with a stucco wall. When I replaced the Generic wall with the new stucco wall, my ReliaBilt (once Andersen) windows were deleted one by one as a changed the wall. Why is this happening?

The Andersen windows work in the stucco wall but the modified Andersen windows (modified to Reliabuilt) do not. Why not?

If you only changed values in your type menu, you should not have had a problem if the initial family was built correctly.  The problem is there is no easy answer for your problem.  You might look at the opening cut definition in the family.

How do I check the opening cut definition? Thanks for the response.
