Hello to all and thank you for helping all the newbies like me with this wonderfull forum! My question (1st one) is this: I'm making some changes to a project made my another person to start getting the feeling of Revit (i have no way to contact that person). My problem is: i've made a basement but in Plan View the Toposurfaces are invisible. I've copied one toposurface from another project (equal to the one that i cannot see) and that one is visible. In the image, above the visible toposurface there's another one, the one that i want to see. Can you help me with this? Thank you very much!

I've manage to talk with this project creator. The solution he found is to put some points of the toposurface below basement plan, so the toposurface appears in the plan view. It's good enough, but strange behaviour of the software not to represent the toposurface. There's no other, more logical solution? Thank you very much!

There's two possibilities:- - Is "Site / Topography" turned on in the Visibility Settings for this View? - Are the View Range Settings for this View set at approporiate Levels to be able to see the topography? Regards, Ian

I think you will find this is a view cutting plane problem. You might try setting up your view with your cutting plane above ground then using a plan region to put your basement plan cutting plane at a lower level.
