hey crew...

just did mr spots tutorial on nested family arrays etc... did the trick brilliantly.... but... i was after the louvres in my array to rotate on a central axis, not the corner of the louvre...

and i also need to create an eliptical louvre and im have a little trouble making it rotatable in the family...

any ideas...

interesting, working on louvres all the time,

worked this out once but not with nested families, could you send me the link for the tutorial??

If I wanted to start a louver family can I use a revit default window family? if not which template do I use?

sounds like no one knows then.... this is the tute from mr spot i think.... worked a treat... but let me know if you find out how i can change the louvre to an eliptical one....

I did this one using a sloping glazed roof item. I use an aerofoil shaped profile with a parameter to adjust the angle. Then create a mullion using the aerofoil, then use a curtain system etc. I only did it once & it worked for what I needed. Check it out... - sorry I am not too sure how to extract the actual model bits out of Revit to share with you!
