The task was given to me, by my firm, to find the answer to the question of, "How can I make a room schedule so that I can design a room once and then everywhere the room is needed I can place it by simply using the schedule?" In other words I want to be able to make a room and then in a schedule designate that room as room "A" then, say im working on a hotel design, eveywhere I designate a room to room "A" all the information will already be there and it will save me time and the hassle. This would also make it so that if a client does not like the room I dont have to change all of them but simply change that one master room in the schedule.

I hope this makes sense and there is someone out there who can answer this question.

Richie

Create a room finish schedule key(an option when you create a schedule). you can control all the information in the schedule with this information. You can create 1 parameter in the key that controls all the other parameters in the schedule. This parameter shows up when you select the room item in plan and go to element properties.  I just did this for my firm and our unit room finish schedules.
