Revit 2008 It would be nice to have model patterns that work in the 3d view and look nice. I am taking some AutoCAD patterns that look good for wood in AutoCAD but when I make them a model pattern in Revit it just falls flat on its face and looks like AutoCRAP. I want to have the look of a wood grain but what I get looks like OSB or something furry that came off my cat.

Yeah I have issues with model patterns too. My sunshade pattern (horizontal lines) turns on an angle in 3d....? I can fix it so that it looks right in 3d but then it looks like crap in 2d or visa versa. Has anyone been able to get patterns to display correctly in 2 and 3d?
