Hi. I just switched to REVIT from Autocad 2004 so im still trying to get the hang of it. I have a question regarding the prehighlighting. is there anyway i can control it or turn it off? also when i underlay plans is there a way i can lock the entire plan so that i dont make changes to the plan thats underlayed?
Would really appreciate the help.
Thanx!

I don't think there is a way to turn off the pre-hightlighting. I actually really like. the only thing I can say is, you'll probably get used to it after a while & find that it comes in handy, especially when you have more than one element in a small area and you want to select only one. You know exactly which one will be selected.
