On some of my elevation i have hidden some lines where the first floor and second floor walls join, but i have sometimes noticed i have hid to many lines. When i click the show hidden elements etc it doesnt show these, how would i see them?

You didn't actually hide the lines when you used the linework tool, you changed the lineweight (if you can't see them I'm assuming you changed the linewieght to invisible lines). To make those lines visible again, use the linework tool again, but this time change the lines you want to see to one of your visible linewights. The linework tool will auto highlight the lines, so you can tab through all the ones you don't want to see and only change back the ones you do want. Hope that helps, best of luck
