We're trying to dimension a few things and we've come across dimensions where we would like to EQ them however, the objects aren't close together and we want to avoid creating a third dimension inbetween just to EQ them.

Other than "cheating" the program by writing over the dim. with an opaque background, is there a way to create a dimension family where you could write in what you would like? or anything of that nature.

Thanks, I shoud have done a more thorough search before posting. We'll give that fake dim. a try, but maybe Revit can do something about this in the future.
