i ma using revit 2008. i was having difficulty exporting wall sections with breaks in them--i contacted autodesk help..and the work-around for this probelm was to create one section, then duplicate with detailing that section however many times it take to get the full wall section that i need. this, of course, makes several wall sections, but i am using only one tag for them on the sheet (because i need them to read as one COMPLETE wall section). this seems to work--everything exports--HOWEVER, i need the section tags to read as ONE wall section as well. so, for instance, at the base of the section, the section tag reads as it should...on the next level, it has a different name. i need the place section tags at each level that have the correct section name but without reading sim. or typ.

does anyone have any idea how to do this...?

anyone had this problem before and found a different way around this?
