In Revit 2008 I am trying to draw interior elevations, the interior elevation room tags are much to large. I cannot figure out a way to reduce them. How do I reduce them? Thank you

Go to the settings pull down menu and viewtags, select Elevation Tags from the flyout. Pick the 1/2" circle and duplicate it calling it 3/8" Circle, or whatever you want to call it. Set the width to coorespond to whatever you set the name to. 3/8" works well for us. ok your way out and select elevations from the view menu. Select any elevation, click Edit/New then duplicate and give it a new name. In the Parameters under Graphics, change the elevation tag to your new 3/8" Circle. (or whatever size your new tag is) You will now have a smaller circle Elevation Tag to use. I named ours Interior Elevation. Hope this helps

Thanks this helped me out a lot I had not found that out yet and was getting really annoyed with the stupidly large interior elevation tags. Thanks! Andrew

Somewhat along the same lines of the original post. Go to Settings- View Tags - Elevation Tags and uncheck the box for show View Name. Nick

If you want multiple types then you will need to duplicate it and make the changes to whichever one you want. It should not matter if you are refencing another view or not. Its just turning the view title off and on. Nick

Make sure that you are editing the corect family type. The first one that opens up is normally the square but most people use the circle... Otherwise youll need to post some screen shots to explain your problem. Nick
