Almost 100% of tutorials the slab edges are draw at interiors side of wall like the images below, but in real life the wall lies in the slab. What is the best for Revit? if the slab is small the volume calculation is lower for cost estimates. thanks.

So when you create your slab, point to the wall with the offset set to whatever offset you want. The slab can be at the exterior, interior, inside of or outside of your wall. It's up to you.
