hey all, I am having problems with a concept roof I am working on.. I have tried a few different ideas but cant come up with an answer. I have attached the concept as a pdf, the dimensions dont need to be correct I just need to know if it is possible. Not sure if a roof is the answer or massing, or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am using Revit Architecture 2008. Thanks, rob

your roof is possible, you can create your roof as a mass, then select roof by face!

thanks, Im happy to know its possible. would you be able to either send some intructions of what sort of massing u would use and how u would use it, or even better create the roof in a generic form so i would be able to edit it. thanks again. Rob

You can just create a block mass, cut it up with voids and the click roof - roof by face. That should work. Let me know if you figure out a good way to flash the scissors transition. Every roof that I have ever seen like that leaks like a sieve (at least within a few years).
