Would a laptop with a 17" (wxga+) 1440 x 900 be adequate for working with Revit Building 2008?

I have a 17” wide format laptop as my workstation and it works ok. The drawing screen is somewhat small but workable. I only use the laptop screen for Revit work while I am away form my office. The best solution is to connect your laptop to a second monitor. Most new video cards will support two monitors. I use a 24” Samsung and it is great. Unfortunately Revit will not let you put full windows on each screen but you can drag the screen so it is as wide as both monitors. My processor is a 2.0 GHz Core-2-duo with 2 gig of ram and it works great for the stuff I do.
