Can anyone give a personal analysis for disecting Revit and creating the building blocks for learning it inside out? This will give me the basis toward developing a game plan to study the product like I have done since Autocad's inception. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Knowing that the terminology is different and that I have been raised on a more prestigious parametric piece of software called APDesign, Revit's CUI and development is altogether "GREEK" compared to Autocad. Thanks for the information in advance.

I recommend doing the Getting Started tutorial, then ALL the family tutorials, then the detailing tutorials.

Thanks, About families, Any thing in particular to pay attention to and what are they similar to? Blocks, xrefs, or blocks with attributes in Autocad?
