When creating a tag, you can add a "masking region".  this seems to mask an area within the tag, but only in display, not in print.  You can create a solid fill area with no line weight (in the tag), this produces what I would call a masking region.  What's the purpose of "masking regions"?

Masking Regions are basically there to "mask out" something in a view that you don't want to see.

Commonly used as a way of detailing complicated wall junctions in plan, for example.

They can be 2D or 3D.

Ian

Why don't they mask when I print?  They do mask in the display.

I have found it’s much easier to simply create a filled region with invisible lines, then give the filled region a solid white fill. That is the guarantee way to work.
