This is something that might be useful in future Revit-versions: real compound walls.
Compound walls put together from different entities such as exterior wall, air barrier, thermal insulation, interior wall, plaster...
This put together in a way that we can have the different square meters in a schedule for each different component!
Now, in scheduling, Revit makes use of the wall centerline...
But you have for example less square meters of internal wall compared to external walls...

Good call Steve. This should also apply to roofs as well so roofing areas & materials/insulation etc can be tabulated automatically.
