Hi, please anyone help me solve my problem. I attached 2 pics for the reference. 1st qustion: (CAMERA file) why the shadding on some of my wall turn black? I used autocad .pat for this stone pattern. It turned out pretty good on my "3D file" but why is it like that on my "camera view" 2nd question: (3D file) I circled the side of stone wall on the entry. Why won't the side of the wall isn't shaded? Thank you in advance for all your help. Karolus

Regarding #2, the wall join is a butt join so the surfave patter stops at the wall's surface edge. Go to Plan view, click edit wall joins button, select Miter. that should take the wall surfaces to the outside corner.

Hi, thanks for the reply (I learned something new), but I think it doesn't solve the issue. I attached the newer pic. For your information if it helps to solve my problem, I edited the wall profile so it's arching like that. Karolus

You can use the paint tool and apply the material to the surface. Note: this does not modify the actual wall wrap.

for your first question -- it's not that the wall has turned black, exactly, but that the pattern is so dense that there is no space between the pattern lines. if you have a drafting pattern, it may be at too small a scale to work in whatever scale your camera view is in. if it is a model pattern and it's at an oblique angle, then it may just be showing the pattern at such a compressed perspective that again, you can't see the space between the lines of the pattern. You could try changing the scale of your camera view, or just add a filled region for the quick and dirty fix. (I think you would have to to the filled region on the sheet - i'm pretty sure that revit won't let you draft in a camera view...) Good luck!
