I'm going to try to abbreviate what I'm trying to accomplish so this doesn't turn into a 5 page thread - hopefully you can follow. Roof framing plan, single slope front to back. Joists spanning front to back bearing on joist girders (I've just used an LH joist as a joist girder). I've created a roof at the slope I need and applied a reference plane to it's underside. I can get the framing in no problem. The problem is exporting to RAM. If I leave everything as default for vertical offsets, etc. it will go into RAM without errors. As soon as I try to adjust so the joists are actually sitting on top of the girders and the tops of the columns are down with the slope of the roof I start getting unsupported memeber errors in RAM. What am I missing here? Has anyone figured this out?? Thanks for any help/info you can pass along.
