We're adding room finishes to a job and putting them on a room finish schedule. I noticed that I had completely misspelled "PAINTED". Is there a way to mass convert all PATINED into PAINTED instead of going to each individual cell to change it?

You should be able to set up a temporary schedule with a filter that selects only these, turn off "show all instances" and then you will only have one line. Correct that and your done.

That's very helpful. Thanks. Okay, so now, how about able to edit the finish so that the PATINED is now only PAINTED?

? ? ? Come on .... I don't understand what you are asking. If this is an instance parameter, just correct the spelling!

For the mass changing, your suggestion worked right on the money. The second was, on the schedule or even in the room properties, the pull down menu has both options. I'd like to know if it is possible to delete an option

If the misspelling still exists in the pull-down, it still exists somewhere in your project. This pull down is only a reflection of all the choices that have already been entered. Initially, there is none. If you put in paint, there is only paint. If you erase the paint (back arrow over the entry), the pull down will onece again be empty. Be careful, if you have other options or phases where this misspelling may exist, it might remain in the pull-down. (I don't know how REVIT treates this information across option and phases)

Just a side note. Did you notice that Revit only Spell Checks notes typed in a drawing. That is to say that Revit will not Spell Check your Schedules or Keynotes. That's a major bummer if you ask me. I just wanted to drop that hint so nobody is expecting Revit to find the spelling errors in their schedules.
