to put an elevation mark in a section or elevation: [1] create a new level at an elevation relative to a gvien floor. (int the detail attached, level 1 is at elevation 484.00, so create the new level "Zero" at -484.00) [2] Place a spot elevation on an element in a section (like the footing attached). pull down drafting/spot dimension. [3] copy this spot elevation: right clik on it and, elemenet propoerties / edit / duplicate [4] Make sure in the type properties "elevation origin" is ste to "relative" [5] use this symbol in the drawing. Right clik on it or right clik and "select all similar" and clik properties / relative base and pull down and select "zero", the level you created in step 1.
