Hi. I'm new to these forums so thanks in advance for your help. My problems is with a walkthrough I'm trying to do of a house I've done in Revit 7. The preview of the walkthrough in Revit is fine, but once I export to avi (even using hidden line and not Accurender option), every time the camera turns a tight corner or goes through or touches a wall surface the video zooms out and then back in again. This is very undesirable as in a house you may need to turn the camera a number of times, so you end up getting your animation zooming in and out like crazy. Is there a setting somewhere to turn this off? Please help. Darryl

I'm not sure why you would be having these problems, but do suggest reading through this thread: http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=583 . I have outlined the process of setting up a walkthrough there. It may be of some help to you.

Thanks for the tip, but I've already looked at that. The problem does not seem to be in Revit itself, as the walkthru is fine when I advance it frame by frame in Revit. Its when I export it to avi that the resulting video then displays these characteristics that I outlined in my first post. Its not the codecs, as I've tried different ones and different machines with the same result. I'll keep on trying.

If you can, zip up the file and post it here. (If its too big, send it to max@lloydhome.co.uk and I will have a look). Can't really see why you should be having these problems?
