I am attempting to bring over my revit 9.1 site model so it can be rendered in 3ds max8; however, I am having difficulties applying materials to the model. I am exporting from revit as a dwg and then importing into max. When i attempt to apply a material (such as grass) to the model it renders as a solid color  green for grass) with not image map. I have played around with every setting I can think of and the best i get is an image map applied to the site at an enormous scale (by this i mean that a blade of grass is 30ft long). I thought it might be an issue with max itself so I tried to create an object on my site (such as an extruded box created with max) and then apply the same material (grass) to this box and it renders perfectly! Even when i assign a material in revit and bring it into max it still renders as a solid color. This is probably an issue for a 3ds max forum but thought there might be others out there with the same issue.
