i have imported one .dwg to be seen on the current view only. how can i manage to move it perpendicular to that view? =moving it closer or far from my point of view) thx

You may be able to rotate or align it in Site Plan view....Or in 3D view Go view/Orient View to top and select that dwg (use filter selection to select it easily, you may not even see it) after selection rotate,move copy commands will be active.... go into a plan view then go into your elevation select the dwg Ctrl & Tab - to go back to your plan view. move tool. then move your dwg. note when you use currrent view only moving it forwards the elevation in plan doesn't really do anything, i think what you should do is in the elevation view select the dwg then on the options bar click - bring to front.
