My name is Brian Lien. I am a Technology Education Teacher in Cincinnati. My Architecture students are involved in a contest and need a Dentist office Exam chair. They are designing a dentist office and have most everything else but this. Does anyone know where I can download an exam chair? It has to be Revit 8 compatable. I know it is old but schools don't buy new software each year. Thanks Brian Lien

brain, the your students can download the latest version or revit for free from autodesk.com. not sure if your school can. get your students to make the family (dentist chair) it will be good practise, they will learn a lot about revit doing this and they are in college to learn, then tell them to upload them to this site once they have created them we can see how well they are getting on. good luck with the contest.

Well by the look of the signature i think brian is at a high school so it would be more difficult. But since a chair doesnt have very many paramaters it would be possible with someone with very little revit experience and some ambition to figure out how to create this family fairly well. Maybe like an extra credit activity or something. I would also highly recommend having your students visit Revit City. So many questions that novices have are already answered on here. Im literally searching for the answer to something about evry 5 minutes. And King, im just curious where on autodesk you see that students can download the latest version for free? is it just the trial or the complete version? can you supply a direct link? Thanks!
